Meet Charisse
As a senior HR professional, speaker, and executive coach, I bring nearly two decades of experience working at the intersection of people, strategy, and organizational life.
I’ve seen firsthand the ways accomplished professionals navigate growth, changing expectations, visibility, recognition, and the evolving question of what success means.
Today, my work brings those perspectives together.
Through Cordison Consulting, I speak to organizations and coach individuals about the ideas that have become central to my work: recognizing the strategic thinking embedded in everyday work, building visibility that is authentic and sustainable, and creating success that is aligned with who you are and what matters to you.
My Perspective
I’ve learned that professional success does not always feel as good as it looks on the outside.
I’ve worked with talented people who delivered meaningful results but struggled to recognize and articulate the strategic thinking behind their work. I’ve seen professionals resolve to become more visible without enough consideration for where, how, or why that visibility would matter. And I’ve watched people achieve the goals they worked hard to reach, only to discover the accomplishment did not feel quite the way they expected it to.
I understand those experiences not only because I’ve observed them throughout my career, but because I’ve navigated many of them myself.
My own path has been marked by growing pains, competing priorities, reinvention, changing definitions of success, and the ongoing work of deciding what deserves my time and energy. And always, the desire to continue becoming.
Along the way, I’ve grown increasingly interested in the gap between how success is measured externally and how it feels internally. My own lived experience and curiosity shape the work I do today.
I believe people thrive when they can recognize and articulate the value they bring, make intentional choices about how they want to grow, and pursue success in ways that are aligned with who they are and what matters to them most.
